Thai Massage

Traditional Thai Massage involves passive stretching and the application of gentle pressure with the hands and feet to manipulate the body. These gentle movements aim to increase flexibility, ease tight muscles and joints, stimulate the organs and bring the body back into balance. This massage is relaxing and energising.

Gua Sha

Gua Sha roughly translated means “to scrape wind”. In the Vietnamese culture “catching a cold” or fever is often described as trúng gió” or, "to catch wind”.

This massage eliminates blood stagnation, enhancing circulation and the metabolism. This massage is ideal if you're experiencing pain, stiffness, fever, chills, a cough or nausea because it offers immediate relief for these kinds of conditions.

Ashiatsu

Ashiatsu is Japanese massage style that involves the therapist ‘walking’ on the client’s back, with the help of overhead bars to maintain balance. The Massage Therapist uses bare feet instead of hands to apply pressure in long strokes or in a local area to trigger specific points, depending on the individual need of the client.

Cupping

Cupping was originally administered by placing an animal horn on the body and orally sucking air out to create a vacuum. This technique brings toxic blood to the skins surface. Nowadays, glass cups are used in place of the horn. Although it can leave red marks on the skin that resemble circular bruises, cupping is not painful and the marks on the skin are not an indication that the muscles have experienced trauma. The red patches on the skin indicate that the cupping has triggered circulation of blood under and around the cups.
