"I have recently completed the Healer Training offered by Connecting Light. This course has been the highlight of my 20 year study of complementary therapies, renewed my passion and provided clarity for my journey.

The Healing Training was a revelation and in stark contrast to my previous experience of energy healing workshops. The course content provides a holistic approach to working as an energy healer. The course content comprehensive and; while providing background on the history of each energy system; focuses on the philosophy of energy healing, healing paradigms and the subtle anatomy. This provides we learners with a solid foundation to explore the practical application of each system.

This exploration is the focus of all of the Connecting Light workshops I have participated in. Attunements feature early in the workshop which provides ample opportunity to experience and play with each of the energies. This opportunity to explore has been enormously beneficial in my understanding the difference between different energies and their application. I have learned to recognise the subtle differences and feel the effect of each on my own and others subtle energy systems.

One of the most important elements for me has been the emphasis on the client / practitioner relationship, both emotional and energetic. Connecting Light has provided me with a comprehensive set of skills to help ensure that I am not as susceptible to other peoples energies I have been, given my sensitivity and empathetic tendencies. This has enabled me to work with confidence in the knowledge that the emotional, physical and energetic needs and boundaries of both my client and myself are respected and addressed.

Of particular note is the quality of the support and reference material which has been developed specifically for each workshop rather than pulled from external sources as has been my observation of manuals from past energetic workshops. This speaks loudly to me about the authenticity of knowledge which all the teachers demonstrate and share openly. The particular skill of the instructors, and the content they deliver, is making energy healing and spirituality accessible.

The format of the course has allowed me to build on my experience in-class by practicing on myself and others in the home environment. Each workshop provides the opportunity to build on the learning from those earlier workshops. The format provided a group of companions for my journey, each of whom brought something else which was necessary for me. Each workshop provided the opportunity to discuss experiences and intuitions which brought with it greater understanding of the energies I am working with and clarity around my own truth and my path. The innovative format has also made the course accessible for people with competing priorities such as myself. The course is intense but not intensive which I feel is important when experiencing and assimilating new energies.

It also provides the opportunity for the spiritual development required to truly walk this path. This development is supported both within each workshop, through specialised workshops and at other times as required.

In short, other workshops Ive done have felt like theyre rest stops along my path where I pause briefly. The Connecting Light workshop is a journey in itself and has helped me connect with my truth and gain confidence in my ability to live up to my path and my potential. Earlier this year I completed their Healer Training course. Every interaction I have had with each of the trainers has been open and loving, allowing the space for me to grow and be myself at the same time. ".. Ive had my first Reiki attunement twice before and both times the material and the way it was presented seemed a little inauthentic or trying to fit into some stereotype. I found the Connecting Light workshop refreshing in contrast. It was real and authentic. The emphasis was on the energy rather than a detailed history about Mikao Usui. I loved that the attunement came first rather than as a reward at the end and that we were encouraged to explore the energy, particularly the Seichem elements. Overall the course feels more holistic and real world. Also, the fact that multiple attunements are connected really resonates with me. The graduated and sequential progress through attunements and styles has never felt quite right to me. When I found your workshops and course it just seemed like it was the way it was meant to be rather than a range of human constructs not unlike a religion.
