What Are the Benefits of an Animal Assisted Therapy?
Animals have a way of touching and repairing an injured soul. This is the reason why Engagement Psychology applies animal assisted therapy during client consultations in Sandgate QLD.
Miffy, a 12-year-old Spoodle, is always present whenever someone visits Lisa for a consultation. She will always be the first to meet and greet you.
She is kind, friendly and a very happy little dog. People often say, “she breaks the ice, Miffy makes me feel more relaxed and offers comfort”, especially at the early stages of their therapy.
Miffy is part of Lisa’s every consultation (unless she is unwell). However, it’s important to note that it’s still up to the clients to decide whether Miffy’s participation in their therapy session would be necessary or not.
Children, young adults and the elderly seem to benefit mostly from our animal assisted therapy.
Book an appointment and let us know if you want Miffy to be around during your consultation.
