Transpersonal Art Therapy for individuals from 4years-adults. Transpersonal Art Therapy incorporates a range of modalities to delve into each client's individual insight and thought leading to a much deeper understanding of oneself. Individual and small group work available in our Studio. Specialising in working with neurodivergent children and teens, families experiencing separation/divorce and women's mental health and well-being. Primary and Secondary School based sessions onsite are also available particularly students with NDIS support.

Hello my name is Andrea and welcome to my Studio Artivive.

"Artivive -Innovative. Creative. Intuitive" is based in my beautiful home based studio in Melbourne's NorthEast. We provide a range of creative modalities to assist people with healing and maintaining positive mental health. Our work is based on the principles of psychotherapy, exploring deeper thought and imagery rather than "talking" therapy.

My background to this point has been working in the Preschool Education Sector with many children and families experiencing neurodivergent challenges, big life changes, grief and loss and other levels of personal trauma. I have alsways had a passion for working with the community in various roles and incorporating nature based play, creativity and sensory experiences wherever possible. Having naturally always been drawn to the arts all throughout my own schooling and my 30 years experience working with children and families, becoming a qulified Transpersonal Art Therapist allows me to draw on all of these skills and interests. Having experinecd the psychological model of counselling in the past and the Transpersonal model I was beyond blow away how powerful it can be. I am passionate about bringing my skills and experience to the wider community.

The term Transpersonal refers to subconcious thought where anxieties, fears and trauma can reside. We use a range of strategies customised to each client to help them find their own inner wisdom and healing through creative expression such as guided meditaton and visualisation, symbol work, painting, drawing, collage, sand and clay work and dream work .

Children, teenagers and adults are all encouraged to participate including clients supported ny NDIS. Individual sessions run for 60-75 minutes, studio based, online and in home sessions are available. Clients are not required to have a particular level of artistic ability or experience to attend.
