Do I need a referral to do o Work Related Activity/Gym Program?

Private patients do not need a referral to start any type of exercise program. All patients who ha a Workers Compensation claim will need the Work Related Activity Program documented on the management plan of their most recent WorkCover Medical Certificate. Third Party claims will need a referral.


How long will the program go for?

We normally run the programs for three months and meet with you on a weekly basis,We would expect though. that you also carry out the program at least twice more during the week to make sure you get the full benefrt,


How long are the sessions?

Allow 45 minutes — 1 hour. We like to make sure you are doing all your exercises correctly


I am bock at work. What times con I do the gym sessions?

Gym sessions are currently run on a Tuesday and Wednesday, however times are flexible and can be tailored to your schedule. If these days don’t suit. please let us know and we would love to organise another time that does.


Where ore the gym sessions held?

Sessions are run at Health Mates Fitness Centre.
