We are an intimate Studio specialising in all aspects of Pilates Mat & Reformer Classes combining Aerial Yoga & Restorative Yoga Classes. We also offer Weight Loss and Personal Training Sessions tailored to you.

Our classes hold a limited number of clients per class so we can service you each time. Class numbers hold 4, 6 & 12 participants, so we can work closely with you to assist you with your goals and/or injuries further allowing you to discover important issues about your body and help you to relax and breathe which will strengthen your core and stimulate your central nervous system, further relieving stress from your body.

We teach the traditional Pilates Method of Joseph Pilates, teaching you the important principles of breathing and core isolation, further preparing you for Equipment classes and Aerial & Suspension Fitness.



Matwork

PILATES – MAT BEGINNER

This is a beginner class consisting of very gentle exercises done on a mat either a sitting or lying down position. The primary focus is on awareness of the spine, proper breathing, core strength & flexibility.

Classes can often use various pieces of equipment such as the Foam Roller, Magic Circle or Bands, to add further challenge or stretch the body as you progress into Intermediate Mat classes or Allegro Reformer.

This class is essential for all new clients, particularly before entering equipment.

PILATES MAT BEG / INTERMEDIATE

A blend of traditional Mat exercises utilizing resistance bands, fitballs, weights, foam rollers and magic circles.

This is a challenging total body workout that improves core strength, stability and balance including overall muscle tone and further prepares you for Allegro Reformer and Equipment classes.

You will be taking your shoes off for all Pilates sessions. Please wear socks at all times.

For safety on the Equipment Classes, it is necessary to wear grip socks. These socks provide grip to the equipment whilst you move and prevent slipping. We sell these on arrival.

For all new clients to our Studio, please arrive 10 minutes before class to complete the necessary paperwork and for us to help you get settled.

MIXED MAT / REFORMER

This class is excellent for new clients to our Studio wishing to explore Mat and Reformer together, where we explore both elements. This session is excellent for clients progressing into the next level, and not quite ready for a full Reformer class.

Reformer

REFORMER – BEGINNER

Reformer Beginner classes are for clients that have completed the Mat series of classes and are new to Reformer.

These classes reinforce the essential Pilates breathing techniques, taught in Mat classes and teach you the safety and control of each exercise on the Reformer as you work towards more challenging classes.

Stretch, tone and strengthen your body on the Allegro Reformer Bed working with spring loaded resistance and utilizing cables and straps for movement, and control.

REFORMER – INTERMEDIATE

Stretch, tone and strengthen your body on the Allegro Reformer Bed working with spring loaded resistance and utilizing cables and straps for movement, and control. This is a challenging abdominal, arm and leg workout

developing strong lean muscles. This class moves from one exercise to the other and depending on the focus, can be a stretch, tone or cardio workout.

You will be taking your shoes off for all Pilates sessions. Please wear socks at all times.

CARDIO REFORMER

A great way to improve your cardiovascular fitness and burn fat.

This class is a mix of cardio machines (treadmill, bike, stepper, rower) to improve your fitness in short bursts, blended with the Allegro Reformer exercises to strengthen and tone your body.

An invigorating interval training workout where you rest during recovery sections and a way to start the day and end the week.

SCULPT & BURN REFORMER

Sculpt and Burn is an upbeat fast pace class utilizing the Reformer throughout the class and incorporating floor exercises, designed to keep your heart rate up and burn calories.

Each exercise is designed for maximum muscle fatigue to get a calorie blasting workout.

All exercises reinforce the essential Pilates breathing techniques to isolate your core and to focus on control and alignment of the body.

You will leave feeling energised and invigorated after this class. All levels are welcome as exercises can be modified.

You will need to wear grip socks for this class.

Anti Gravity Aerial Yoga

ABOUT OUR ANTI GRAVITY AERIAL YOGA PROGRAMS

Anti Gravity Fitness is a comprehensive fitness technique designed to increase ones overall health and physical agility while having fun and creating beauty.

This unique combination of exercises, as a sequence, is intended to decompress your spine and align the body from head to toe while stretching and strengthening your muscles, all whilst suspending the body from silk hammocks.

Founded in New York by Christopher Harrison, an Acrobatic Aerial and Dance Performer, this beautiful and graceful program is available to all levels of Health and Fitness.

ANTI GRAVITY FUNDAMENTAL BEGINNERS

All Clients new to Anti Gravity Aerial Yoga and Restorative Yoga are required to complete our Anti Gravity Fundamental Beginners class first.

This class will teach you the important safety principles of Anti Gravity techniques and how to safely get in and out of your Hammock. You will also learn the power, excitement and pure joy of moving freely in all directions of open space and how to move into our Decompression Inversions. This is also a great time to ask any questions or doubts you may have and in understanding how you will progress into other classes.

ANTI GRAVITY AERIAL 1 & 2

Discover your Ananda (blissful joy) in levitating meditations. Gain strength in your Yoga practice as you challenge yourself to stretch and strengthen your body in your Anti Gravity Hammock.

Aerial 2 is an Advanced session requiring more core and upper body strength as you learn challenging moves, including flips and turns.

ANTI GRAVITY RESTORATIVE YOGA

Restorative Yoga is the gentle, meditative, slow stretching and rehabilitative version of AG Aerial Yoga.

This powerful method focuses the mind through visualizations as it floats the body through a series of gently gyro-kinetic motions, deeply opening the entire spine, hips and the connective tissues of the body. Each class features full body inversions alongside various forms of flowing spinal traction. It offers accessibility to students with physical limitations, but is loved by all as a portal into deeper spinal flexibility and mind/body connection.

Restorative is taught in a sequential flow to music and incorporates levitation meditations, zero compression inversions, supported sun salutations, joint opening poses, and a floating sivasana, while working from different hammock heights to allow for a gentle opening of the hips and spine.

TRX – SUSPENSION FITNESS

TRX Cross Core Suspension Training – Suspension Training is functional core and muscle conditioning using a double pulley cable attached from the ceiling , utilizing a huge range of exercises that challenge the body improving core strength, fitness, flexibility, strength, and muscular power and endurance.
