Andrew White
Andrew has been a health practitioner for over 10 years, initially as a remedial massage therapist and last few years as a fully qualified Acupuncturist and Doctor of Chinese Medicine. Previously Andrew was an IT Business Analyst in a large communications company for 12 years. During his early thirties he became interested in health and wellbeing realising that to attain and maintain health proactive measures are necessary in regard to improving diet and appropriate exercise.
Through the process of many personal development programs over 5 years Andrew realised that a new career assisting others heal to find greater health and happiness was calling. By finding a greater sense of self and realising deeper truths about life, existence and the natural world it was very apparent that studying the time tested and natural medicine that Chinese Medicine is was necessary.
Over 6 years Andrew retrained in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine whilst working as a remedial massage therapist and with his wife raising a young family of three sons. Andrew graduated with a High Distinction degree from the Southern School of Natural Therapies (SSNT) and was awarded the “Outstanding Achievement in Clinic” award as a final year clinician.
Herbal Medicine
Herbal formulas are specifically tailored to effectively treat your chinese medical diagnosis to alleviate your symptoms whilst also addressing the root cause of your disharmony/condition.
Acupuncture
Chinese Medical Acupuncture considers disharmony to be a blockage in the flow of the body's energy (we call it Qi). Diagnosis enables the practitioner to determine which energy channels (meridians) in the body are blocked. Specific acupoints are selected on those or other meridians to restore the free-flow of energy.
Musculoskeletal Acupuncture
Pain is debilitating. It may make the easiest things in life some of the most difficult and has longer term impact on our wellbeing. Acupuncture to treat musculoskeletal pain has gained high recognition for its effectiveness.
