Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a very old form of healing which originated from China and dates back over 5000 years ago. The main form being Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. It also involves adjunct therapies including moxibustion, cupping, gua-sha, remedial massage (Tui na), laser, electro-stimulation, diet and lifestyle advice. It is one of the oldest system of medicine still in practice today. Acupuncture is practiced all over the world, and is gaining popularity due to its natural form of healing.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
Chinese herbs are used frequently in combination with an acupuncture treatment. There are over 500 commonly used Chinese herbal substances, most of which come from plants, though there are also some animal and mineral substances used. Herbs have certain qualities such as cooling (yin) or stimulating (yang) and they are prescribed according to the patient’s individual symptoms and health problems. Often different herbs are used together based on diagnostic principles. As one’s condition changes, the Chinese herbs are also adjusted to reflect the condition.
Chinese Remedial Massage (TuiNa)
This is a form of remedial massage by stimulating and regulating the flow of qi. It helps to release any blocked energy in the body based on acupuncture points and soft-tissue manipulation. Tui na uses Traditional Chinese medicine theory based on qi and blood flow. It is based on the meridians and channels of the body. Tui na is used in conjunction with Acupuncture or as a stand alone treatment.
Collagen Treatment
Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) is a beauty treatment using micro-needle procedures which are a cylindrical shaped drum studded roller with multiple ultra-fine needles to create microscopic holes or tiny dermal punctures in the skin. This helps to stimulate new tissue regeneration, elastin and natural production of collagen fibres (neo-collagenesis). It also forms new capillaries for improved blood supply (neo-angiogenesis) and allows for better penetration of active skincare ingredients (up to 200 times more product delivery). The device uses a Micro-Needle Roller, which contains 192 micro-sized needle points spaced equally apart. These micro-needles are very short in length and only affect the superficial layers of the skin. Micro-needle Rollers penetrating above 1.5mm are only used in salon treatments only. It is recommended to use the longer needles in clinic treatments and then complement it with a home care Micro-needle Roller.
Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture
Cosmetic acupuncture is needling aimed at improving the skins appearance naturally. It is also known as facial acupuncture rejuvenation. Facial cosmetic acupuncture is a non-toxic alternative to Botox and collagen injections, micro-dermabrasion, photo rejuvenation, chemical peels. It is a natural, non-invasive treatment. Treating the underlying health condition at the same time is an added benefit of cosmetic acupuncture. Cosmetic Acupuncture is a holistic treatment, which focuses on creating beauty from the inside out.
Fertility and IVF Support
Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine is used to help support people going through fertility treatments and IVF.
Qi Beauty Facial
Qi is the energy within you that plays a major role in maintaining your health and vitality as you age.
Your skin requires this qi energy to stimulate cells, collagen and blood to oxygenate and regenerate the cells as you age. The Qi beauty facial aims to activate your qi to reconnect the energy that the skin requires to promote health, vitality and a more youthful rejuvenated appearance. Qi Beauty Facial
The Qi Beauty Facial is a holistic integration of acupuncture meridian therapy and magnetic stimulation created to revive, energise and rejuvenate skin. It draws on Traditional Chinese Medicine by appliying principles of cellular memory through the activitation of qi to stimulate skin cells.
Sound Therapy
Sound therapy is a form of vibrational, energetic and harmonic healing technique. Our bodies function best when there is harmony, resonance and balance. As our hearts beat and our lungs regulate breath, our organs work in mutual support and resonance with each other. This system of vibrational sound healing draws on cell biology and quantum physics which provides evidence that vibratory motion of energy is found in everything throughout nature and the universe. Every cell in our body carries the awareness of vibration. In the 20th century, Hans Cousto translated the planetary velocities into musical tone. Cousto’s musical transpositions of Kepler’s planetary orbits provided a foundation for the frequencies that are used in the Acutonics System.
