Active & Ageless in Hurstville, New South Wales, provides group workout sessions designed to keep people over the age of 50 physically fit and mentally stimulated.

We conduct a comprehensive health and medical survey prior to beginning your group sessions, as well as discuss your specific goals with you. We will then take you through a movement screening to determine which sessions would be most beneficial to your goals.

Different Types of Group Sessions

Strength & Mobility

This program is intended to increase muscle strength while also incorporating dynamic movements to improve mobility and joint range of motion. It helps your body move and feel better.

Flexibility & Mobility

A yoga-style class that focuses on reducing muscle stiffness and providing greater flexibility. It also improves joint range of motion, increases body awareness and strengthens your core.

Conditioning

This fitness program combines cardio equipment and dynamic movements to improve joint range of motion by burning fat and improving heart health. It is also beneficial for increasing strength, muscle toning and improving cardiovascular health all at the same time.

Active Foundations

This low-impact entry-level fitness class includes a variety of functional movements that target balance, strength, flexibility, core movements and stability. This foundational class is intended for people looking for the most basic exercises.
