Welcome...
The world of nutrition science is ever changing and with so much misleading and confusing information out there, it is hard to make the right decisions for good health. Whether your health goals are for prevention, optimisation or disease management, Activ-Ate Wellbeing will help you find out what works best for you and provide expert nutritional advice and support so you feel confident in making healthier lifestyle choices.
Professional information...
My name is Roslyn Yee and I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Sports Nutritionist, having graduated with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Newcastle. I am registered with the Dietitians Association of Australia and hold full APD status, which means I keep up-to-date in the field of nutrition science through continuing professional development.
Prior to Activ-Ate Wellbeing, I worked as a Clinical Dietitian at The Sutherland Hospital where I built a foundation of knowledge and experience in managing a range of medical conditions alongside a team of health professionals. One of the most rewarding experiences was sitting beside my clients receiving chemotherapy and being able to provide support through nutrition to them and their families. This sparked a desire to help people on their personal health journeys so I completed further health coaching certification through Health Change Australia, Senior First Aid and Cert. IV Small Business Management before transitioning from the public sector into private practice.
What we can do for you...
As well as general healthy eating advice, Roslyn has experience with applying evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for managing a range of adult medical conditions and can provide assistance with symptom management.
