What Is Brain Gym®?
Developed by educators Paul and Gail Dennison, Brain Gym® is an educational, movement based programme that focuses on the use of simple movements to help integrate the whole brain, senses, and body, and prepare the person with the needed physical skills to learn effectively.
Brain Gym® is made up of 26 simple activities that help in addressing balance, posture, and coordination skills that are associated with the success of daily life. By synchronizing it to your system, it helps improve comprehension, organization, communication, focus and emotional health.
How Does Brain Gym® Work?
Brain Gym® is designed to reconnect the neural pathways between the brain and body to improve learning abilities, mind-body coordination and emotional health. All 26 exercises enhance a person's five senses to strengthen and balance all areas of their brain so that they can think clearly, absorb new knowledge faster and carry out their tasks effortlessly. If a child or an adult has a condition, the instructor will tailor the exercises to suit their needs and learning pace.
