Ruth-Helen Camden from Clairvision School of Meditation is all about enabling clarity of vision, which can help you decipher what people really mean when they communicate with you.
The following is a transcription of Ruth's interview with NTPagesTV.
Natural Therapy Pages: I'm Mel from NTPagesTV, and I'm here with Ruth-Helen from Clairvision School of Meditation. How are you?
Ruth-Helen Camden: I'm great, thanks. How are you?
NTP: Very well, thank you. So, tell me about your school and what you do.
RHC: Clairvision School of Meditation is a school of meditation and spiritual work based on experience. I guess Clairvision means clarity vision, so really it's about seeing things as they are. You know, when you think about being clairvoyant or seeing things, you often have this idea that you're gonna see reality as you've always have but with these pretty aura colours on top or something, and you're gonna work out what those mean. It's completely the opposite. It's more that you see beyond appearances.
So, the first technique is using the third eye. We have a weekend workshop called Awakening the Third Eye. So, learning to use your vision so that it's targeted. You tune into someone, you see behind the facade. You know what it's like when someone's telling you something and you think they don't mean that, but what do they mean? Well, this is where you're tuning in where you're using other faculties - feeling, third eye vision. I mean you could call it sixth sense, but it's a systematic way to develop that. And you're gonna hear the person, where they're speaking from, what they really mean, what's going on inside them, and you see amazing things. You see qualities about the people.
Not just people. You tune into a tree, and you see this magnificent geyser of life and light or just a brown thing with leaves.
NTP: So, apart from being able to tune into other people, how does it make you feel, how does it affect you?
RHC: I guess more than just vision for the sake of entertainment, which is great, it's really about stripping away appearances of yourself and knowing yourself. So, there's a whole philosophy of sourcing – meaning what's behind that, what's behind that and what's behind that. And if you, imagine you source yourself, what are you gonna find? You're gonna find your essence, your divine nature, your spiritual being.
NTP: So, it's peeling back the onion layers?
RHC: Yeah, but in the middle is something, not just more onion.
NTP: So you run different courses?
RHC: We do. The first course is the Awakening of the Third Eye, and then we have other courses that have other techniques that are more about clearing away blockages. It's all about self-knowledge. But, you know, in any solid system of spiritual development, you've got two sides. You've got construction that's building up stillness and silence, and learning to meditate and getting familiar with those parts of yourself. Then you've this whole deconstruction side, which is clearing away all the things that are in the way. So, there's quite a lot of emphasis on that, and so we have interactive techniques where people work in pairs and in the courses. This whole self-discovery of understanding of 'oh, that's why I've always been like that.' This is an amazing thing when you see something, sometimes that's all it takes for it to just drop.
NTP: Who would you say it's suitable for?
RHC: Anybody who really wants to know themselves, not people who want their problems to go away without looking. But, people who say, 'I want to know why I'm like this', 'I want to get to the bottom of it', 'I wonder who I really am'. I'm a practitioner. I'm a psychologist and I specialise in innerspace techniques. And often, I get people who don't have a particular problem. They just say something like, 'I just know there must be more than this'. It's that kind of person that clicks with this work.
NTP: Lovely, so do you have a website we can go to for more information?
RHC: Yeah, clairvision.org.au.
NTP: Okay, beautiful. Well, thank you so much for your time and I wish you all the very best for this show.
RHC: Thanks.
