Smoothies are a delicious and simple way to get in those much needed nutrients and important fibre.  Here are 5 easy and very nutritious smoothie recipes:

Kale and Mango

Ingredients

  • 3- 4 Kale leaves
  • ½ Mango
  • ½ cup water (or more depending on desired consistency) or I whole coconut water plus flesh

Blueberry and Cacao

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Blueberries
  • 1 tbs Chia Seeds
  • 1 tbs Cacao powder
  • 1 coconut water and flesh

Banana Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 Banana
  • ½ Avocado
  • 1-2 Dates (depending on desired sweetness)
  • 1 tbs chia seeds
  • 1 coconut and flesh or ½ cup of water (or more depending on desired consistency)

High Protein Banana Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs Protein  powder
  • 1 Date
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Coconut water and flesh

Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Kale leaves
  • Squeeze lemon/lime juice
  • ½ cup plain yoghurt
  • 1 Mango
  • ½ cup almond milk
